Job: 6 to 8 week Front-end Coding internship

Qualifications:

• Junior or senior in an accredited degree program in a computer science field
• Knowledge of coding and UI’s
• Skilled in React.js and Python required
• Understanding of Figma and AWS is preferred but not required
• GPA of 3 or higher with a major GPA of 3.3 or higher
• Ability to pass a background check
• Know or be willing to learn source control
• Ability to work with others
• Some finance and lending knowledge preferred but not required

Benefits

• Compensation of $22 per hour

Responsibilities:

• 40 hours a week
• Work on the front end coding for a program that will compare client information against the various matrices to return the correct outcome. (Client A should be referred to Supplier C or D and will be given a rate of Y for the loan amount of Z given the credit score, location, requested loan amount, etc.) The program will
  • have a user interface for the lending officers to interact with (lending officers will input the client data)
  • have a separate user interface for the business owner to input the matrix information
  • be backed up on a regular basis
  • integrate with other programs used by Core Capital Lending
  • be kept secure and auditable. It should keep a log of who accessed what, who changed what, when changes were made, and version history.  Users will need to log in by password and only on specific equipment/approved devices. 
• Work directly with users of the program
• Implement safeguards against hacking
• Write user manual for any program created
• You will gain experience in programing for the financial industry
