Our platform is built to automate the shopping process, letting doctors apply for quotes in minutes so they can focus on patients instead of administrative headaches.
Having successfully launched our rapid quote flow, we are now serving physician practices across five states. Join us as we build out the first AI-native insurance marketplace for a complex insurance product that US healthcare providers depend on.
The Role
As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll work directly with our CEO and CTO to build out new platform features such as automated document retrieval and scraping, LLM-based insurer correspondence agents, claims submission handling, and LLM-based customer support. You'll contribute to meaningful features within our modern tech stack while experiencing the complete product development lifecycle. Your work will directly shape the way physicians nationwide buy malpractice insurance.
What You'll Do
- Build and enhance features across our full-stack application
- Help develop LLM-driven processes and integrations
- Work with our modern tech infrastructure including:
- Next.js frontend and backend deployed on Vercel
- Persistent services (servers and workers)
- Data storage solutions (MongoDB, Redis, S3)
- LLM integration for automating business processes
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- See your code deployed to production and used by real customers
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Familiarity with React and modern frontend development
- Interest in full-stack development and server technologies
- Desire to learn about LLMs and their practical applications
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work remotely
- Above all, someone who is motivated to become a 10x engineer
Preferred Technical Experience
- React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
- Node.js, TypeScript
- MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
- Git version control
- Basic understanding of cloud services
