Financial Planning Internship

Primary Responsibilities (training provided)

  • Attend client meetings and take notes on important details
  • Compose transaction sheets to process after meetings
  • Process and follow up on account paperwork, set up/open/close client accounts, maintain client files and records, general account maintenance and generate appropriate statements and reporting
  • Prepare client reporting and meeting documentation when needed
  • Answer client questions and provide readily available information
  • Assist advisors in ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Current student
  • Typing speed of at least 50 wpm

 

Experience (preferred, but not required)

  • Experience in office environment
  • Experience using CRM/Salesforce and/or other firm specific databases

 

Job Type: Part time (12-30 hours per week, flexible based on applicant’s availability)

Duration: 6 months, with potential to transition to permanent position

Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour (based on experience)
