Health Application Appsheet Designer Internship

Frontida is a United Nations-approved nonprofit created by passionate young entrepreneurs, dedicated to developing health documentation applications clinics in low-resources settings. Designer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build health applications (like electronic health records) on Google Appsheet low-code development tool.
- Research current medical system, workflows, forms, and data reports.
- User-test applications in development with clients, non-profit administrators, volunteer medical providers, & patients (and later on other environments).
- Actively capture customer feedback from medical providers and administrators and implement iterative changes.
- Analyze and understand user needs, interviewing medical providers as necessary.
- Conduct product demos and training demos for international clients over Zoom.
- Ensure successful product implementation and adoption with non-profits, health organisations, clinics, and government customers.
- Troubleshoot technical and design issues.
- Collaborate with other designers and developers on the team.
- Help define the product vision and future direction to improve patient outcomes.

Skills
- Proficient in Google Docs/Slides (required), Notion(preferred, not required), Figma (preferred, not required), 
- Experience using low-code development tools like Google Appsheet (preferred, not required)
- Proficient in using medical systems (electronic health records, pharmacy inventories, data analytics)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your domain
- Ability to share and communicate effectively in an async team environment

Commitment
- Role will require between 10-15 hours weekly
- All team members may be staffed with an international client, which means you may have to be up at odd hours of the day.
- Minimum: 6-month commitment. This duration can be extended.
- The internship will be part-time and unpaid, but will provide hands-on startup experience and high-impact responsibilities.
- Internships starts in late December/January depending on the internship.
