Sports Information Graduate Assistant
Mount Vernon Nazarene University invites applications for the graduate assistant position for sports information. MVNU is part of the NAIA and a member of the Crossroads League. MVNU offers 23 varsity sports. The applicant should be knowledgeable and passionate about sports and meet the following criteria:
Job Requirements
- Manages and ensures the accuracy of sports schedules, rosters, and statistics
- Assists and collaborates with others, including coaching staff, athletic personnel, and gameday management staff
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work nights and weekends
- 20 hours per week
- Motivated to learn!
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience using Presto Sports
- Knowledge of sport statistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Photoshop
- Experience with a camera and general knowledge of photography
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Acceptance into the Mount Vernon Nazarene University 2-year graduate program
- Must be committed to staying for a full 2 years
