Builder Media is seeking a college student or recent graduate with WordPress experience to assist with updating and refreshing several of our company websites. This is a short-term project ideal for someone interested in web development, digital media, publishing, or marketing who wants real portfolio experience working on established media platforms.

Builder Media publishes Builder & Developer, Green Home Builder, and other industry platforms serving architects, builders, developers, and designers nationwide.

Project Overview

We are currently updating and modernizing approximately six WordPress websites across our media platforms. This role will help improve site structure, design, and functionality while ensuring the sites are organized, user-friendly, and visually consistent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updates and improvements to multiple WordPress websites
• Update page layouts, navigation, and content organization
• Implement design improvements and formatting updates
• Make light HTML/CSS adjustments where needed
• Help troubleshoot minor website issues
• Ensure sites are clean, organized, and easy to navigate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with WordPress
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (JavaScript a plus but not required)
• Familiarity with WordPress themes, page builders, and plugins
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in web design, digital media, or publishing
