General Description

The Financial Aid Specialist (FAS) assists in determining if financial aid verifications are accurate and in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and guidelines, and performs other duties assigned by the Assistant Director to ensure the efficiency of operations within the Financial Aid Office.

Requirements

Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours or four years full-time experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping/data entry setting with three years of full-time related experience in a college or university setting. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Criminal background check required.
