Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend APIs using PHP Symfony framework.
  • Build and enhance frontend interfaces using React.js.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve vulnerability issues, software bugs, and client-reported issues, including reproducing and analyzing problems.
  • Follow Agile methodology for software development, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure clean, secure, and scalable code aligned with best practices.
  • Contribute to system design discussions and participate in code reviews to improve quality and maintainability.
  • Knowledge of AI prompting and guard rails.

Key Qualifications

  • Must be able to commit to an in-person or remote, full-time.
  • Must currently be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or have equivalent experience. 
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have a solid technical foundation.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C++, JavaScript, or Python is required. 
  • You should also be familiar with the software development life cycle, including designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining web and mobile applications. 
  • Results-driven, you must be keenly interested in learning new technologies and rapidly adapting to new requirements and environments. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, with the ability to convey complex concepts and influence others through logical explanations effectively.
