Event Appointment Setter – Home & Garden Show (February)

Location: Ohio
Dates: February 14–22, 2026
Type: Short-Term Event Role (Potential for Ongoing Work)
Pay: Hourly + Performance Bonuses

About the Role

We’re hiring high-energy, people-first communicators to help us engage homeowners at a large Home & Garden Show this February.

This is not a traditional sales role.

Your job is to:

Start conversations

Get homeowners excited about reimagining their outdoor space

Schedule in-home design consultations with our team

If you enjoy talking to people, asking great questions, and helping others imagine what’s possible, this is a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Engaging homeowners as they walk by our booth

Asking simple, friendly questions to spark interest

Talking about the outcome of creating a usable, multi-season outdoor space

Identifying homeowners who are a good fit

Scheduling in-home design consultations (no selling, no pricing, no specs)

What You’re NOT Doing

No cold calling

No hard selling

No discussing pricing or technical details

No closing deals

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication skills

Professional, friendly demeanor

Reliability and punctuality

Availability for all show dates (Feb 14–22 preferred)

Willingness to participate in paid training sessions prior to the event

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay

Bonus for each appointment scheduled
