The Pack and Ship Associate is responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory in shipping containers and preparing them for shipment. Duties include interpreting order invoices to determine which items need to be sent out, performing quality control assessments and stacking items safely and securely in the right packaging. The Pack and Ship Associate will report directly to the Pack and Ship Manager.

The Pack and Ship Associate is responsible for the following:

  • Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged
  • Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations
  • Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
  • Keeping records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc.
  • Filling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information
  • Sealing shipping containers and labeling them appropriately
  • Cleaning shipping containers and other shipping supplies
  • Maintains a clean and organized work space.
  • Contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center, preferred
  • Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Strong attention to detail for quality control purposes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing or sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive wrist motion
  • Audible recognition of alarms

Available schedules are flexible starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending as late as 12:00AM. Operating 7 days per week. This position is seasonal starting 10/27 and ending 12/23
