SRG Skiing Part-Time Video Editor

Fully Remote Part-Time Job, 1-2 Videos per Month

Note: This is a paid independent contractor position, which provides flexibility in how work is completed. As a 1099 contractor, the selected candidate will be responsible for their own taxes. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions on the structure of the role.

We are seeking a diligent and proactive video editor to help advance the production quality of the brand and maintain upload frequency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing a video ready for publishing every 2-3 weeks while keeping the rest of the team updated.

Responsibilities:

• Make creative choices that blend our historical style with a personal touch
  • Do appropriate research to imitate previous SRG Skiing videos
  • Bring creativity to add a new flair to the previous style
• Manage and sort large quantities of video footage
• Effectively communicate progress, needs, questions, and concerns through email/text and video meetings

Requirements:

• Consistently meet deadlines with a quality product & attention to detail
• Reliable communicator via email or text
• Minimum of beginner-level proficiency using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Have or are willing/able to obtain an Adobe subscription
• Passion for snowsports (resort skiing or snowboarding)

• Experienced skier/snowboarder
• Fan of SRG Skiing!
• Experience with Adobe After Effects
• Experience with making YouTube videos

Expected pay & benefits

$150-$250 per video, 1-2 videos per month

After 6 months: SRG Skiing jacket

After 1 year: Invitation to company ski weekend
