Front-End Development Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Help our front-end developer on various projects. May include client and internal work, as well as experimental projects/using various programming languages/disciplines

 Required qualifications and skills:

  • HTML5 - Includes knowledge of semantics
  • CSS - Including Flexbox/CSS Grid - Responsive Layouts
  • JS - DOM manipulation
    • Programming basics: Arrays/Objects/Loops
  • Is able to take visual layouts and translate them in the browser

 Desired qualifications:

  • Excited about programming/web development
  • Willing to work on difficult projects/resilient
  • Listens to feedback and open to collaboration with developers + designers

 Has interest in:

  • CSS Animation
    • Includes using JS to direct + reveal animations/interactive elements
  • JS Frameworks - Currently work in React/NextJS
  • Experimentation into other programming languages/disciplines (game dev in Python for example)
