Video Content Creator
We're seeking a talented Video Content Creator to join our team in producing an exciting new video podcast series for social media. You'll be responsible for bringing our podcast to life visually, handling everything from recording to post-production to create engaging content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Recording:
- Set up and operate video equipment, lighting, and audio gear for podcast recordings
- Ensure high-quality video and audio capture throughout sessions
- Manage technical aspects during recording to maintain professional standards
- Coordinate recording schedules and session logistics
Post-Production:
- Edit video content for multiple social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Create engaging short-form clips and highlights from full episodes
- Add graphics, titles, transitions, and visual elements to enhance content
- Optimize content for different platform specifications and audiences
- Maintain consistent visual branding across all content
Creative Development:
- Collaborate on visual storytelling and creative direction
- Suggest innovative ways to make content more engaging and shareable
- Stay current with social media trends and platform best practices
- Help develop content strategies for maximum reach and engagement
Requirements
Essential:
- 2+ years of video production and editing experience
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Experience with social media content creation and platform optimization
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and audio fundamentals
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Portfolio showcasing video content creation skills
Preferred:
- Experience with podcast or long-form content production
- Understanding of YouTube and social media algorithms
- Experience with live streaming or multi-camera setups
- Background in marketing or brand storytelling
