Disney Cruise Line® contracts musicians to fill our entertainment venues with lively tunes for our Guests of all ages to enjoy. We're currently seeking a talented vocal guitarist to bring the magic of Pixar Day at Sea to life!

 

SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLE:

Vocal Guitarist

  • MUST have a commanding stage presence to be a lead in Hey Howdy Breakfast with Woody and Friends based on Disney/Pixar's Toy Story franchise.
  • Must be proficient in a variety of musical styles - singing while playing acoustic guitar - with emphasis on Western folk ballads.
  • Musical theatre experience is a plus as performances will include line memorization, improv hosting, and simple blocking movement.
  • Must be able to read music and guitar charts.
  • Strong familiarization with Disney songs is a must.
  • In addition to the Hey Howdy Hey breakfast, performer will be scheduled in other venues, which would include performances of varying styles of Top 40 and pop music.

 

Contract Details:

  • Must be available from January 3, 2026 to March 11, 2026.
  • Musicians typically receive a single crew room with shared bathroom.
  • Performers should be ready to perform up to 3 hours per day, 6 days per week during onboard contract.

 

 

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1 - Please record the following as an unlisted YouTube link:

  • 30 second introduction of yourself
  • 1 short example of a Western ballad on guitar and vocals (no more than 1 minute)
  • 3 short examples of varying musical styles of your choice (no more than 3 minutes)

 

STEP 2 – Create/Update profile on DisneyAuditions.com.

  • Please click "My_Profile" to create or update your performer profile.
  • Make sure your profile includes an up-to-date resume and contact information
  • Add audition links to your profile.

 

STEP 3 - CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS

  • Visit Checkin.DisneyAuditions.com.
  • Click on audition titled "Disney Cruise Line | Pixar Day at Sea - Vocal Guitarist
  • Please only submit yourself once.

 

Deadline for submitting an audition reel is Sunday, August 31st at 11:59 PM ET.

 

Requirements:

  • If selected, performers will be hired as crew and must complete all applications and onboarding requirements.
  • Must comply with all Disney grooming guidelines and employment standards.
  • All performers must be at least 21 years old.
  • All performers must be fluent in English (understanding, speaking, and writing).
  • Travel is required.
  • We strongly encourage performers from all cultural backgrounds to submit.
