Human Resource Consultant 2

The Human Resource Division (HRD) provides human resource services to supervisors, managers, and employees.
 

Duties

This position supports that mission by serving as a professional-level Human Resource Consultant, providing consultation and operational support to agency staff, supervisors, and managers in the areas of:

  • Recruitment and selection
  • Classification and compensation
  • Training and organizational development
  • Personnel records and compliance
  • Data reporting and HR systems support


Our new teammate will be able to:

  • Provide professional-level consultation and operational support for recruitment and hiring processes in compliance with WSP policies, WAC, and CBAs.
  • Support classification reviews, compensation proposals, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Manage personnel file reviews and unemployment verification requests.
  • Monitor and manage team inbox and support internal communication.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School graduation or equivalent
  • One year of broad-based professional human resource experience in the areas of classification, compensation, recruitment and selection, training, organizational development and/or labor relations.
