Job Title: Behavioral Interventionist
Overview:
As a Behavioral Interventionist at Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center, you play a crucial role in implementing treatment plans and providing direct support to clients with complex behavioral challenges. Responsibilities:
Implementation of Treatment Plans: Implement treatment plans developed by Licensed Psychologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) to address skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals.
Data Collection: Collect data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction using prescribed methods and tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data collection procedures.
Feedback and Training: Receive feedback and training on job performance from Licensed Psychologists, Senior RBTs, lead BCBAs or BCaBAs, and apply this feedback to improve skills and performance in implementing treatment plans.
Behavior Support: Provide behavior support to clients both inside and outside of the clinic, home, or classroom setting as needed, assisting with the application of behavioral strategies and techniques to promote positive outcomes.
Collaboration: Collaborate with Licensed Psychologists, BCBAs, BCaBAs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care for clients.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral intervention techniques.
Adherence to Values: Uphold the values of Wabi Sabi Behavioral Health Center, including embracing imperfections, fostering growth, and promoting well-being in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, interventions implemented, and any relevant observations or notes in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Other Duties: Undertake other duties as assigned by a supervisor, contributing to the overall mission and objectives of the organization.
Qualifications:
Have or obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within the first 60 days of employment.
Have or obtain Professional Crisis Management certification at the Practitioner 2 level within the first 6 months of employment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must satisfactorily clear background checks conducted at both local and national levels to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational requirements.
Compliance with vaccination protocols mandated by licensing and insurance boards is essential.
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
